Company Description
Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge consists of 43,000 acres of mixed forests, rivers, and lakes in northwest Minnesota. Wildlife abounds with trumpeter swans, wolves, bear, deer and numerous migratory songbirds. Summer temps are in the 70’s to mid 80’s but may reach 90. There are mosquitoes, biting flies and ticks. Work includes hosting the visitor center and maintaining the visitor center grounds using riding lawn mower and weed whip. We are looking for a duo team or single person each volunteering 24 hours/week in exchange for an RV pad. 3 month commitment desirable.
