JOB DESCRIPTION – Social Media Specialist (2+ years’ experience)

 

HoopJumper is looking for a Social Media Specialist who can enhance our brands and build strong online communities through all of our social media platforms. We are a 15-year-old internet marketing company that believes the mantra, “We Jump thru Hoops for You” applies to everything we do for our clients.  The Social Media Specialist will engage users, clients and create an interactive relationship between them and our businesses. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review analytics to develop more effective campaigns. The qualified candidate will grow and manage a social media team, assist in managing multiple clients’ social media platforms and strategies. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is a creative storyteller and also understands the importance of timelines and providing excellent customer service to clients.

 

Responsibilities

Managing all company Social Media, guide the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels including social media ads.)
Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite.
Handle sales to current and prospective clients for social media management.
Create social media editorial calendars that clearly illustrate to HoopJumper and clients what, when, and how content will be produced. to manage and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns, strategies for consistency in copy, through tone and terminology.
Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer weekly and monthly reports to the executive team that will outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.
Manage social media team – hiring and training a motivated team; ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
Tracking customer engagement, SEO, understanding of KPI’s and defining them for each entity.
Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company and ensure a positive customer service experience.
Requirements

At least 2+ years prior social media Specialist experience
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Quiet home office with dependable internet and backup plan in case of outage
Ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
Responsible for overseeing social media package sales to clients
Management experience for sales team, social media specialist and artists
